The 40 Licks Generation 1 Coanda Hood install was complicated by the kitchen being in the basement of a Heritage listed building with low ceiling heights.

This meant the makeup air had to be ducted via a collector box through flexible ducts into the front of the hood and the exhaust out of one side.

It was further complicated by load bearing columns in the middle of the cooking line meaning we had to build multiple hoods that interconnected so they operated as one.
